For full-time students using ITE (Higher Nitec) or Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' level results only

Please read the following instructions and regulations carefully before completing the form.

• Exemption is not automatic. You must apply for exemption using the official application form. Application opens 1 week before and closes 1 week after commencement of semester. Late application will not be considered.

• Only one application per student is allowed. Multiple applications will be rejected.

• Prior learning experience must also not be obtained more than 3 years from the date of application.

• Exemption cannot be granted for subjects that were earlier granted exemption in your previous studies. You will also not be considered for subjects you have attempted in your course of study at TP.

• Download the application form from your school website. Obtain approval from your Course Advisors/ Course Manager for the subjects that you wish to be exempted. Bring along the original copy of your ITE transcript/Statement of results from all semesters or 'A' level results slips(s) for verification.

• A confirmation on your exempted subjects will be sent to you by post in 3 weeks' time from the approval date. Please note that you MUST continue to attend lectures for all subjects unless approval for exemption has been granted.

Application procedures

The procedure will be as follows:

• Student submits application for subject exemption to Course Manager (CM) or his delegated authority.

• CM or his delegated authority verifies/certifies the students' application against the original results and approves the students' application on-the-spot.

• CM or his delegate authority informs the students of their exempted subjects on-the-spot and that a confirmation letter will be mailed to them by Registrar's office in 3 weeks' time.
